There is a friendly atmosphere at all our branches and you will be made to feel very welcome. At our branch office, you will be invited to complete a registration form with your personal details, including skills, qualifications and employment background. A copy of your current resume will also be helpful.
Some agencies do practice charging a nominal fee when a candidate registers or both client and candidate when a job placement is confirmed.
However, it is not Kelly's practice to do so as candidates are recognised as our employees when they are placed by Kelly on a job assignment.
Depending on the job, you may be asked to complete skills assessments e.g. numeracy, spelling and computer skills.
Your consultant will advise you, but allow at least an hour - we want to get to know you!
Your personal consultant will discuss your skills, preferences and personality, so that they can match you with the right job. Current vacancies will then be checked for suitability.
If there are no available and suitable vacancies, your consultant will continue to search and contact you immediately if they find one that is suitable for you. It is also important that you update your resume via our website and keep in regular contact so you are up to date on current opportunities.
For temporary work, once we have gone through the assignment with you, you can start work straightaway. There is no need to have another interview - we will simply pass on your details to the employer.
For contract positions, we will contact you as soon as we find a suitable opening. If you are interested, we will then pass on your details to the employer and depending on the type of position, there may/may not be an interview.
For permanent roles, we will contact you as soon as we find a suitable opening. If you are interested, we will then pass on your details to the employer and arrange for an interview.
